Riders — called hobbyists, and yes that is the official term and yes it is perfect — sprint, leap, and canter across real showjumping-style courses while "riding" a stick with a plush horse head. Dressage, show jumping, and racing, all performed entirely on human legs, entirely with maximum commitment.
It started as a grassroots hobby in Finland, exploded into arenas with thousands of screaming fans, and is now one of the fastest growing spectator sports on the planet. You read that correctly. Thousands of screaming fans. For a stick horse. That is how good this sport is.
